[0:03] Welcome to business purpose and Clarity with patreon your host we talk about startup live insights practical tips mistakes failures and everything between do you care I mean do you really care what are you doing does it show when you're building your relationships with business partners new customers with your employees pretty much with everyone around you how do you show how do you know how do they know that you care I have noticed that many times they are these signals which tell me you don't really care and it tells stories to me as well well let's take some of the obvious ones.

[1:07] And these are just examples that you can reflect on your own path and the ways you're doing things if you're meeting someone do you Google them beforehand if it's the first meeting do you do a little bit of a background check and I don't mean like in a negative sense background check I just mean that you know what they're doing you know that you don't need to ask the obvious silly questions you could just Google in one minute because that might irritate some people and it just tells something if you ask me the most silliest questions available in other words are you prepared when you're going to the sales meeting are you prepared when you're going to the Corporation partnership meetings do you care just a little bit that you save the other party's time by going to the most exciting and interesting things you could talk about if you would have just Googled a few.

[2:12] Minutes or seconds beforehand how's your approach is it consistent how do you respond to message says does it take like weeks to get back if it takes like weeks because you just cannot make the decisions because whatever the reason it is do you communicate in a meanwhile that I got your message but sorry it just takes a little bit of time because of oh do you just because what's the difference between coasting and not responding even though you are interested well the other party doesn't know that so what does that tell how do you see the freelation zips are you doing stuff just because you need urgently something and that's just what you want to get well that's certainly one way of doing.

[3:16] Business that's certainly one way of your career or the current events of what are you so it's a transactional type of relationship you State what you want and you get it done the rest can go and when you get it it's goodbye thanks in other words you don't care about the long term you don't really care about the consequences you just want to get what you need and that's it some who are in the business in the long term some who understand and know that everything you do have a history the people you see early in your career later on might be in really good positions the people you treat not so nicely now may actually be in the decision-making in your next.

[4:20] Venture whatever that is you never know but people will remember long-term thinking treating people with respect and just showing a little bit that you I mean genuinely care not just fake it because that's sometimes what I've seen as well but it's easily to point out as well it's quite exceptional nowadays just think about how do you want to conduct your business what type of a founder you want to be what type of business you want to build and how do you wanna be seen by others.
