What's with ghosting, no-shows and not keeping your promises?

[0:03] Welcome to business purpose and Clarity with patreon your host we talk about startup live insights practical tips mistakes failures and everything between this is my business uh etiquette or just appearance episode about menus or lack of them and let me know whether you are with me or you strongly opposed to things I'm saying today well maybe I'm just old and grumpy and well not be the times anymore but I still think that it's nice to be with good manners and you should promise what you can keep or putting it another way don't promise what you cannot keep and by putting expectations and then over delivering.

[1:08] It's better than the opposite way non-communication is communication you're not responding you are talking I'm hearing loud and clear if you coasting yes I'm hearing I'm I'm drawing my conclusions you get into a some kind of list last minute moves are not good form if you agreed on a meeting online meeting Maybe and then in the last hour or in the last few hours you cancel always schedule or you do it you mean it's often the meeting starts that does all look good you are not respecting other people's because you know even though the meetings are starting you say hey I cannot make it.

[2:10] Do you know what the other person did to get to that meeting do you know how much and commitmentated in order to keep they part of the meeting well you don't and that's the point what are you actually saying is that you don't appreciate that time and effort I do understand that sometimes the calendar Tech talks it doesn't work and it's just disappears from your calendar and you don't know that you had a meeting or you just simply somehow look at or there are some emergencies and those are the exceptions but most of the times that's not the case my point is that people know this they forget the details they never forget how you make them feel that in mind.
